Library
The college has a spacious independent building. It consists of 43,280 stock of books. It is also well-equipped with periodicals, news-papers, dictionaries, encyclopedia and career guidance literature.
Timing- The library is kept open from 9am to 5pm on all working days. There is a library committee which guides the librarian. The rules and regulations to be followed by the students can be had from the librarian.

Circulation service (books borrowing):
The issue & Return system will provide two books to students’ category for 15 days and 20 books to teaching community for 30 days and Non teaching/ supporting staff will get 2 books for 30 days.
- Two text books and one reference book shall be issued to a student.
- Student has to return/renew the borrowed books to library within 15 days.
- 20 text books/reference books shall be issued to a faculty.
- Faculty has to return/renew the borrowed books within 30 days.
- Extra two books shall be given to students for whole semester; who scored above 80% in previous semester.
- Additional two books shall be given to meritorious SC/ST students.
- Once the borrowed book is lost, damaged, then user is required to replace the same with new one/ pay original price of the lost-book, in addition to 50% of original cost as a fine.
- In case of price of the lost book is below Rs. 200/- then pay original price of the book and in addition Rs. 100/- as a fine.
- Students shall be held responsible for loss and misuse of ID card. First one has to write a letter to the librarian. then, Duplicate ID card shall be issued at the cost of Rs. 200.00
Patron Category: There are three main Categories in the system.
- Student
- Teaching Staff
- Non- teaching staff
Reservation policy: there shall be 2 reservations for students and 3 reservations for a faculty. For each book, maximum allowed reservation is 3 times.
- Reference service
Library has a separate Reference Section/reading hall with 200 seating capacity. The reference collection includes Dictionaries, Year-books, Books on competitive exams, Project reports and CD-ROMs. 20 periodical and 7 news papers have been subscribing for the library. A team of professionals are available in the reading room to assist the students.
- Photocopy service
Photocopies of articles from journals and chapters from textbooks are provided on request. However outside visitors and non-library materials are not allowed for photocopy.
- Internet access facility
WiFi enabled library provides high speed access to Internet on Laptops and 6 dedicated systems will ease research activities in the library. Laptop users should take prior permission from the authority while connecting to internet.
- User orientation
Every year, Library organizes orientation programs to its members. It also arranges special talks on career guidance, personality development, Communication skills etc. ‘Librarian Day’, ‘National Library Week’ are being celebrated in the Library regularly.
LIBRARY POLICY
- College identity cards shall be compulsory while entering into the library.
- Books borrowed should be protected from DUST, RAIN, INSECT etc.
- Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage the library resources in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
- Once the borrowed book is lost, damaged, then user is required to replace the same with new one/ pay original price of the lost-book and in addition to 50% of original cost as a fine.

- Books removed from the shelves by students, if not required for reference, should be kept on the table nearest to them. Please do not try to shelve them yourself.
- All students are advised to come to the library in the college uniform.

The Library remains closed on Republic Day , Independence Day, Dussehra, Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti (October 2).
